Linking an existing card

Link an existing card in-app

  1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu and tap the cards icon in the top-right
  2. Tap 'Add new'
  3. Select 'Already have a Revolut card? Link it now'
  4. Enter the card number manually
  5. Press 'Link card' to complete the process

The card will now be linked to your account, and you'll be able to start using it.

Potential difficulties when linking a card

While the linking process is usually seamless, there are some common difficulties you may encounter. Here’s how to troubleshoot them:

  • Double-check the card number is correct and re-enter it if there was a mistake
  • Check that the card was not previously terminated
  • Make sure the card is not already linked to a Revolut account. Only two external physical cards can be linked to any Revolut account
  • You can’t link a card from another entity. If the card belongs to a different Revolut entity (e.g. a Swiss customer trying to link a card from a European entity), linking the card will not be possible
