To check why adding money through Apple or Google Pay was unsuccessful, go to Transactions, open the failed transaction, tap 'Get help' and select your problem to see the exact reason.
Some of the most common reasons for a failed attempt at adding money via Apple or Google Pay include:
- Declined by the bank: try this method again later. If the issue continues, contact your bank.
- Apple’s or Google’s technical issue: try this method again later. If the issue continues, contact Apple or Google support.
- Check the card you're trying to top up with to make sure it's not your Revolut card. Topping up with a Revolut card isn't supported, so these transactions will be unsuccessful.
Make sure that you’ve set up Apple or Google Pay correctly on your device. For more info, check our Supported cards FAQ. If a card isn’t supported, it will not appear as an option.
