How do tiered rates work in Instant Access Savings?
Savings in local currency (GBP)
Tiered rates apply depending on your balance only for eligible plans (Ultra).
- Balances up to £200,000 earn the regular plan rate
- Balances over £200,000 and up to £5,000,000 will earn a lowered rate — only for customers on eligible plans. Eligible plans: Ultra
- Balances on other plans continue to earn the regular plan rate on their full balance up to £5,000,000
A blended rate is calculated using the 2 rates, and the resulting rate is applied to your Instant Access Savings balance (across all personal Instant Access Savings balances in the same local currency).
How can I check the interest rate applicable to me?
To view the latest rate in the Revolut app:
- Go to 'Accounts' and tap 'Instant Access Savings'
- Tap the 'Interest rate' shown below your balance to see your tiered rate
- Tap 'Learn more' for a detailed breakdown
Savings in non-local currencies
If you hold deposits in either or both USD and EUR with Investec, the total (across both currencies) must not exceed the £120,000 equivalent.
