How do I activate a physical card?
Activating your 💳 physical card is quick and simple:
- Open the Revolut app
- Go to 'Cards' (the card icon in the top right) and tap the card you want to activate → select 'Activate now' → choose 'I have my card'
🎉 Congrats! Your card is now ready to use.
Activating a card is an extra security measure we've added to make sure you've received your card. You won’t be able to make your first transaction until your card is activated.
Alternatively, you can activate your physical Revolut card by making a payment at a physical terminal (inserting the card into the terminal and providing the PIN code).
👉 In case you need to check card's PIN, just select the card in the 'Cards' section (the card icon in the top right) and tap on 'Settings' → 'View PIN'.
For your own safety, contactless and online payments for your physical card are only enabled after you activate the card. You can also manually enable them in the 'Settings' within the 'Cards' section (the card icon in the top right).
