With your IHG subscription, you can earn IHG One Rewards points from card spend. You can also earn extra Elite Night Credits based on spend and, on Elite, Reward Night Certificate, Cardmember Choice Reward, and IHG One Rewards Elite Diamond status at higher annual spend thresholds.

Essential: earn 5,000 bonus points when you spend £1,000 in your first 3 months.

Elite: earn 20,000 bonus points when you spend £3,000 in your first 3 months.

Essential earn rates (points per £1): 1 on IHG spend (all regions), 0.5 on non-IHG spend (all regions).

Elite earn rates (points per £1): 6 on IHG spend in select international markets, 4.5 on IHG spend in other international markets, 3 on IHG spend in the UK or in EEA and on non-IHG international spend, and 1.5 on non-IHG spend in the UK or in EEA.

With both subscription tiers, you earn 1 extra Elite Night Credit for every £4,000 spent in a year (shown as milestones at £4,000, £8,000, £12,000, and so on, and £32,000), up to 8 per year.

On Elite, you can also earn: 1 Cardmember Choice Reward at £10,000, 1 Reward Night Certificate at £15,000, another Cardmember Choice Reward at £25,000 annual spend, and IHG One Rewards Elite Diamond status at £35,000 annual spend.
