Return or manage crypto deposits
Returning crypto deposits
There are a few reasons why Revolut might not accept a crypto deposit:
- Depositing from an unsupported exchange
- Depositing from an unsupported wallet address (e.g. an address associated with illegal on-chain activities)
- Not providing additional information about a deposit, in cases where this is requested
How to return a deposit
If a deposit needs to be reverted, you'll be notified in-app. Go to the transaction, tap the banner, and follow the steps. Ensure the wallet address matches the asset and network. To initiate a return:
- Go to 'Treasury' section
- Tap on 'Crypto' tab
- Scroll to your transactions list or select the crypto you deposited
- Find your deposit transaction and tap on it
- Follow the steps of the flow
- Pick one of your existing wallets or enter a new one to revert
Funds may be lost if the address is incompatible, on a different network, reused without verification, or randomly provided. Check the transaction status in your history.
Returning the deposit failed
Sending your funds back might have failed due to issues with the address you provided. For instance, we do not allow returns to addresses associated with illegal on-chain activities. In such cases, you will need to attempt the return again using a different address.
