How much will I receive from a successful purchase protection claim?

If an item you bought is stolen or damaged accidentally to the point of being inoperable within 365 days of purchase, you will be paid the costs of repair or replacement of the item up to a maximum amount of the purchase price less 5% deprecation per month following 90 days of purchase or:

  • €1,000 if you are a Plus customer
  • €2,500 if you are a Premium customer
  • €10,000 if you are a Metal customer
  • €10,000 if you're an Ultra customer

whichever amount is lower.

The most you can be reimbursed for any one incident and in any 12-month period is:

  • €1,000 if you are a Plus customer
  • €2,500 if you are a Premium customer
  • €10,000 if you are a Metal customer
  • €10,000 if you're an Ultra customer

For any mobile phones’ devices, you are only covered for one incident per account during a 12-month period beginning on the date of your previous notification of your mobile phone claim.

The shipping cost to send the item to Qover will be covered up to a maximum of €50.

The final amount paid out is determined by the insurer and is ultimately dependent on their review of the claim. The amounts mentioned above are the maximum amounts you may be entitled to for a claim and over a 12-month period, respectively.
