How to connect Revolut Terminal to Revolut POS
You can finalise transactions by using the 'Pay at counter' feature. This feature lets you start a transaction on your Revolut POS, before instantly sending the payment amount to a connected Revolut Terminal, where the customer completes the payment.
Once the Revolut Terminal is configured, additional setup steps are required in the Revolut POS app:
- Go to 'More' and select 'Hardware settings'
- Select 'Find payment devices'
- Select your Terminal in 'Pay at counter' mode
- Set it as the 'Default payment device' for automatic payments
Set 'Pay at counter' mode on Revolut Terminal
- Go to 'More' on your Revolut Terminal
- Select 'Checkout'
- Find 'Enable pay at counter' and turn on using the toggle
- An informational message will inform you that the device will only be available via POS. After viewing, select 'Enable'
- A confirmation message will explain that enabling this stops standalone use and only allows payments from a connected POS. Select 'Enable' to activate
Switch the Terminal back to standalone mode
- Long-press anywhere on the device screen for at least 5 seconds
- When prompted, enter your staff password
- The Revolut Terminal will return to full standalone mode, running independently from the Revolut POS app
