What are Pro Pockets?
Pockets are a feature that allow you to create sub-accounts, which you can use for savings or to put money aside for any reason. A Pocket is a separate account listed under your main account, and Pockets can be used to group all transactions for different purposes.
You can choose between Tax Pockets (which have additional functionalities related to transferring money for VAT) and regular Pockets. To open a Pro regular Pocket:
- Go to ‘Accounts’, click ‘Add New’, and choose ‘Freelancer’ tab
- Click on ‘Regular’, and click ‘Get Started’
- Give your Pocket a name and choose its currency
What is the Pro Tax Pocket?
The Tax Pocket is a sub-pocket within your Revolut Pro account, designed specifically for setting money aside for taxes. You can set up automatic transfers to this Pocket based on VAT percentages, create recurring schedules, or make manual one-off transfers.
To open a Pro Tax Pocket:
- Go to ‘Accounts’, click ‘Add New’ and choose the ‘Freelancer’ tab
- Click ‘Regular’ and select ‘Get Started’
- Give your Tax Pocket a name and choose its currency
- You can opt in to have a percentage of your sales (per product or per total sales) put aside in this Tax Pocket
