What does it mean to be a high-net-worth investor?
To invest in crypto ETNs, you are required to certify whether you qualify as a high-net-worth investor or a restricted investor.
By selecting 'high-net-worth investor' as your client classification, you confirm that you qualify as a high-net-worth investor on the basis that — in the last financial year — at least one of the following applies:
- You had an annual income of £100,000 or more (this doesn't include any one-off pension withdrawals)
- You had net assets of £250,000 or more. Net assets don't include your home (primary residence), your pension (or any pension withdrawals), or any rights under qualifying contracts of insurance
High-net-worth investor risk acknowledgement
By selecting this client classification, you accept that being a high-net-worth investor will expose you to promotions for investments where there is a significant risk of losing all the money you invest.
With this client classification, you also confirm you’re aware that it is open to you to seek professional advice before making any investment in a high-risk investment.
