Buying bonds in the Revolut app

Trading hours for bonds are between 11:00 and 20:00, Gulf Standard Time (GST, UTC+4), Monday to Friday, excluding the UAE public holidays. Due to Daylight Saving Time (DST), trading for bonds in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is as follows:

  • 06:00 to 15:00 UTC from the last Sunday of October to the last Sunday of March, and
  • 07:00 to 16:00 UTC from the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of October

DST switches occur overnight from Saturday to Sunday at 01:00 UTC.

How to buy bonds

In your Revolut app:

  • Tap Invest in the bottom menu
  • Tap ‘Trade’ or ‘Discover’
  • Select a bond
  • Tap ‘Buy’ to continue to the order screen

Alternatively, use the search box at the top to discover bonds. You can buy the minimum amount, known as a ‘lot’, containing a fixed number of bond units. The lot price (in USD, EUR, or GBP) is the smallest currency value you can buy. Currently, we only support market orders for bonds.
