• Go to 'Invest' on the bottom menu of the Revolut app
• Select 'More' on the right
• Tap 'Settings'
• Select 'Close investment account'
• Carefully review and agree to the Invest Account Closure Terms

You need to follow this process and close the account manually, as selling the assets to bring your balance to zero won't close the account automatically.

• To close your account, follow the instructions above
• Your assets will be sold once you agree to the Invest Account Terms
• Sale proceeds will be transferred to your designated account based on the instrument's trading currency
• Your account will be closed once the balance reaches zero

You'll get statements for your closed account in an offboarding email, and can also request them via our in-app chat. If you've closed your investment account, and you're still eligible, you can re-open an investment account. It won't be linked to your previous transactions.

As selling assets in your investment account may trigger capital gains or losses, you should carefully consider the potential tax consequences of closing your investment account. Revolut doesn't advise on tax-related matters. If you need advice, we recommend contacting a financial adviser.
