Trading value limits
Minimum order value
The minimum order value is one unit of the relevant currency — e.g. EUR 1, USD 1 — depending on the currency in which the instrument is traded.
Maximum order limit
You can place buy orders up to 100,000 units of the relevant currency, or up to 50,000 shares if the stock value is less than 100,000 units of the relevant currency at any given time.
You can place sell orders up to a maximum of 1,500,000 units of the relevant currency, or up to 50,000 shares if their value is less than 1,500,000 units of the relevant currency at any given time. For more details on closing a stock position, refer to this FAQ. Trading limits are subject to change.
Example of limit calculation
You buy USD 100,000 worth of a stock and then immediately buy another USD 100,000 worth of the same stock. However, if the USD 100,000 is for less than 50,000 shares each time, you can't buy USD 101,000 worth of stock (unless you’re subscribed to Trading Pro, which offers higher order limits).
If you have Trading Pro
If you subscribe to the Trading Pro service, your order limit is increased up to 250,000 units of the asset currency, or up to 50,000 shares if their value is less than 250,000 units of the asset currency.
