Trading hours

Regular trading (open market) hours

  • For US securities: regular trading hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm ET — unless there's a market holiday or shortened trading days
  • For European securities: orders will be executed from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 20:00 (Coordinated Universal Time, UTC) — except for market holidays or shortened trading days
  • For UK securities: orders will be executed from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (UTC) — except for public holidays or shortened trading days

Hours for trading orders

You can still place market-on-open orders, which will be queued for execution at market open on the next trading day.

Limit and stop orders can be placed and queued at any time, but will only be executed during market hours when the conditions of the order are met. Read this FAQ to learn more about order types.
