Revolut <18 transfers

How do <18 transfers work?

Revolut <18 accounts are sub-accounts of your personal account and don't have account details.
Your child can send payments to other Revolut <18 users with the same base currency. However, they can't send payments to customers on the adult app or receive regular bank transfers.

To enable payments in your child’s <18 app:

  1. Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
  2. Tap 'Discover payments' and select 'Add phone number'
  3. Have your child enter their phone number and tap 'Continue'

To send payments in your child’s <18 app:

  1. Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
  2. Tap 'New' to select a recipient or choose one from the suggested section
  3. Enter the amount, add a note and/or a GIF
  4. Tap 'Send'

Transactions to unfamiliar recipients require approval from both you and the recipient.

To enable payments, your child must provide their phone number and allow contact syncing.

Digital age of consent

If your child hasn’t reached the digital age of consent for their country or region, they may not be able to use this feature yet. The age requirement for children in your country is 14 years old.

Revolut <18 payments are subject to account limits based on local T&Cs.
