Limits
Our automated security system sets a daily limit for all customers. For security reasons, we can't disclose the limit. Limits are reset every 24 hours, and limits are automatically adjusted as you use Revolut and build financial history with us.
The limit per one transaction is JPY1,000,000.
If you add money to your Revolut account with a credit or prepaid card, you can only use the funds for shopping due to 'credit monetisation rule'. For transfers and ATM withdrawals, it's best to top up via a bank transfers instead.
Fees
Revolut fees
We always show you our fees before you add money.
Fees apply for the following card types:
- Business and commercial cards
- Cards issued outside the EEA or
- Swiss-issued cards incur a processing fee for Standard plan customers
There's no fee for adding money with non-commercial and international Visa debit cards.
Non-Revolut fees
Revolut has no control or visibility over the fees your external bank may charge. Some banks may charge you if your card deposit is recognised as a cash withdrawal or advance, international transfer, or a transfer in another currency.
