How to complete all steps for Referral reward

In order for a referral reward to be granted, the invitee usually has to add money, order a physical card, and make a certain number of eligible payments. Here’s how to complete each step:

Add money

  1. Go to the 'Home' screen
  2. Tap 'Add money'
  3. Tap 'Change' to choose your preferred top-up method (must be card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfer for Referrals steps to be met)
  4. Complete this step before the deadline

Using internal transfers from other Revolut customers won’t count.


Order a physical card

  1. From the 'Home' screen, tap the card icon in the top-right corner
  2. Tap 'Add new'
  3. Choose a physical card, and complete the order

Delivery fees may apply. Ordering a card associated with Revolut Pro, Revolut <18, Revolut Business, or a Joint Account won’t count.

Make payments

The invitee needs to complete a required number of purchases before the deadline.

Eligible payments can be made:

  • With a virtual or physical card, online or in-store
  • With Apple Pay or Google Pay
  • Before or after ordering a physical card


Purchases made with cards associated with Revolut Pro, Revolut <18, Revolut Business, or a Joint Account won’t count.

Make sure that purchases are:

  • Greater or equal to the minimum amount visible to your referrer on the Referrals screen. The minimum amount of each of the required transactions will be different depending on the referrer's region
  • Made before the deadline
  • All valid purchases (currency exchange transactions, transfers, gambling, or gift cards aren’t valid purchases)
  • Some referral campaigns may require you to make a different number of card payments, and/or they might need to be made on separate days before the campaign ends
