Jak zapobiegać oszustwom?
If you get a suspicious call, email, link, or text from someone pretending to be from Revolut, reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat for assistance. Don't click on any suspicious links or respond to any unknown texts. This keeps your information safe and helps us combat cybercrime.
Best practices when shopping online
- Be suspicious of 'too good to be true' offers or prices
- Never share your PINs, passwords, one-time passcodes over the phone or via an online chat support
- Check online reviews to verify if the website is authentic and the seller is credible. Insist on inspecting high-value items in person or via video call and request documentation to confirm ownership
- Try to access the website you're buying from by typing it into your web browser. Don't follow links in unsolicited emails or texts
- If you receive a message from Revolut stating that the payee details don't match, pause the transaction and look into it
If you've fallen victim to a scam:
Secure your account:
- Stop all communication with the scammer
- If you shared any card details, freeze your card by tapping the card icon in the top-right corner. Then, select the card you want to freeze and tap 'Freeze'. Alternatively, you can terminate it by going to 'Settings' and tapping 'Terminate card'
- Reach out to Revolut Support via the in-app chat for assistance
- If possible, we recommend reporting the matter to the police
Report the fraudulent transaction in-app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Select the transaction from your transaction list
- Select 'Get help'
- Choose the most relevant option
