Adding money to a joint account
Add money from your personal Revolut account
In the Revolut app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Select your joint account
- Tap 'Add money' and follow the instructions
Add money with a bank transfer
To receive a bank transfer, you’ll need to share your joint account details with the sender/sender bank.
To view your joint account details in-app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Select your joint account
- Tap 'More' and 'Details'
You can also share your account details with your employer to receive your salary into the joint account.
Currency exchange
To exchange funds in-app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Select your joint account
- Tap 'Move' and proceed
To access the joint account currency pocket:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap 'Accounts'
- Scroll down and select a currency joint account
Currency exchanges can’t be cancelled once completed. You can only revert it by making a new exchange (exchanging the money back into your base currency). Given exchange rates are variable, you may not end up with the full amount back.
