Identity verification requirements
Identity verification can take up to 5 business days. Check your 'Home' screen in-app to make sure you have no additional requests from us. If you're having trouble providing the requested information, upload what you have with a detailed explanation in the description.
If you register for a Business account, you can link your personal Revolut profile using the same phone number. However, you may still need to verify your identity for your Business account.
Supported documents
For UK, Swiss, or EEA-based companies, provide one of the following documents (must be valid for at least 1 month):
- National ID
- Passport
- Driving licence (your place of birth should be in the EEA)
You're a resident or non-citizen
In addition to the documents mentioned above, if you're not a national of the UK, the EEA, or Switzerland, you must also provide one of the following:
- Proof of residency, such as a visa or residence permit (must be valid for at least 3 months)
- Online share code for the EU Settlement Scheme applicants, or visa applicants who used the UK immigration's ID Check app
Unsupported documents
- Short-term, tourist, seasonal worker, and student visas or permits
- Estonian e-residency cards
- Applications to extend a visa or permanent residency (unless already approved)
- Ukraine biometric passport isn't accepted
Other types of documents may be rejected at Revolut's discretion.
