How does Revolut keep my money safe?

How Revolut safeguards your money varies depending on ‌the Revolut entity you're registered to. To find out ‌which Revolut entity you're registered to:

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  3. Find the name of the Revolut branch you're registered to at the very bottom of the page

If you're registered with the Revolut Payments Australia entity:

The electronic money in your Accounts is protected by a bank guarantee (the Bank Guarantee). The Bank Guarantee is issued by an Australian authorised deposit-taking institution (the Issuer) in favour of Global Loan Agency Services Australia Nominees Pty Ltd (the Trustee or GLAS) who holds the benefit of the Bank Guarantee on trust for all Account holders. In the event of an insolvency of Revolut, you’ll be able to make a written demand to the Trustee for the payment of the electronic money balance held in your Account.

See the Revolut Payments Australia Pty Ltd Product Disclosure Statement for more information.

All your card transactions are processed by the Mastercard or Visa network and are protected by Mastercard or Visa rules.
