Original transfer was initiated from an exchange

Why aren't returned funds in my exchange account?

Your returned funds were sent back to the original wallet address and are no longer held by Revolut. If the deposit was made from a crypto exchange, you may need to contact the exchange’s support team to help locate or credit the funds.

Returns are sent back to the original source wallet to comply with regulatory requirements. Once the return is completed, Revolut cannot redirect the funds or manually recover them

What can I do if my exchange can’t locate my returned funds?

If your original transfer was made from a crypto exchange, the returned funds may have been received by the exchange’s internal wallet system. In such cases, only the exchange can help recover the funds, as Revolut no longer holds them. Contact your exchange's support team, and provide them with:

  • The original deposit transaction details
  • The return transaction hash / blockchain transaction
  • ID proof of your deposit (such as screenshots or account statements)
  • Your exchange account details
