Managing Analytics categories
Transactions made through the Revolut account on your Revolut app are generally assigned to a category.
All your spending is filtered by categories you spend in, merchants you spend with, and countries you spend in.
To change your transaction's category:
- Go to your Transactions.
- Tap on the transaction you'd like to edit.
- Scroll below to the 'Category' section and click the current category.
- Select a new category or create a custom one by tapping (+) at the top.
- Choose if you wish to transfer similar transactions to this new category.
Also, you can assign a transaction to a specific category by following these steps:
- Go to the home screen → tap the 'Analytics' icon in the top right corner. Or, you can head to the main screen and open the 'Spent this month' widget.
- Tap the category you wish to see.
- Select 'Add transaction' and choose the transaction you want to change the category for.
- Choose 'Add only this transaction' or 'Add all from this merchant' if you want to change the category for all transactions from that merchant.
