How do I buy Car Insurance?

To purchase a Car Insurance policy in your Revolut app, go to 'Lifestyle''Insure''Car insurance policy'.

Our new Car Insurance is available for all customers in Ireland. Make sure you have the latest Revolut app version and your phone language is set to English, otherwise you may not be able to see Car Insurance in-app.

Revolut Car Insurance policy is underwritten by AIG Europe S.A (Ireland Branch).

To find out the cost of car insurance, please get a quote in-app. We can offer you a quote for car insurance only when your car make and model is in our database or car registration starts with 241. We’re not able to add your car model if it is not there, so you won’t be eligible for Car Insurance with us. If your car is a model from 2024 it might not be currently available in our database. 

We can’t provide quotes via chat for a new car insurance policy, and we can’t adjust the price for a car insurance quote you receive in-app. If you’re uploading documents for car insurance, they usually take 5–10 days to verify, so no need to reach out to customer support before this time. 

If you provided the wrong details by mistake or included the wrong scheduled payments date, please cancel your policy and re-issue it again (cooling-off period is 14 days). To do this, go to: 'Lifestyle''Insure''Car insurance policy''Manage Policy''Cancel Policy''Continue''Confirm Cancellation''Got it' to confirm you understand the information provided about your refund. Under certain circumstances, adjustments can be made to your policy. In such instances, please reach out to our support team for assistance.
