The excess is the amount deducted from approved claims. It represents your share of the claim cost. Not all policy sections have an excess, so some claims may not require it. Check your car insurance policy wording for sections with an excess.

Choose from three excess options (€600, €300, €125) when purchasing Revolut car insurance. Your selected excess can be found in the Revolut app and car insurance policy schedule. You can't modify your excess, and the optional excess does not apply to the Third-party fire and theft plan.

The additional excess of €250 will apply (in addition to the chosen optional excess) if you don't use an approved repairer for certain claims. Please refer to Car Insurance policy wording for the full terms and conditions.
