Cover for cancelled and interrupted trips
Trip cancellation
If you have the Premium or Metal plan, your travel insurance covers trip cancellations if your trip is eligible and the cancellation reason is covered by the policy's T&Cs.
Cover is available for non-refundable costs and cancellation fees up to €5,000 per insured person.

Trip interruption
If your trip is interrupted for a reason covered by the T&Cs, such as an injury or illness, you can submit a claim for:
- Unused trip costs up to €5,000
- Emergency accommodation up to €1,000
- The cost of an economy-class ticket
Key exclusions
- You fail to obtain required passports, visas, or travel documents
- You change your mind or can't afford the trip
- You can recover the costs from any other source, including if you're refunded with a voucher
- You travel to sanctioned countries or against government advice

How to check your coverage
This is only a summary of your coverage. Revolut travel insurance is provided through XCover, not Revolut itself. XCover is responsible for policy terms, conditions, and claim handling. If you have questions about the cover contact XCover or read the T&Cs by following these steps in the Revolut app:
- In the search bar at the top of the screen, search for 'Insurance'
- Select 'Insurance'
- Select 'Travel insurance' and tap 'Get help'
