The name on my card is incorrect

The name on your card follows specific rules due to a 20-character limit (including spaces). If your full name exceeds this limit, names are shortened as follows:

  • First name and last surname. Middle names will be shortened
  • Middle names may be removed if necessary
  • First name may be shortened to an initial if necessary
  • If all else fails, only the last surname will be printed
  • Special characters (e.g. umlauts, accents) are replaced with standard Latin equivalents. For example: Müller will appear as Muller

Why can't my card have non-Latin characters?

Revolut cards only support Latin characters. Special characters, such as Ś/ę/Ą, are replaced with their closest Latin equivalent (S/e/A).

It's not possible to customise the name on your card. To change the name associated with your account, go to your profile and tap 'Personal details'. If you wish to proceed with the name change, you'll need to provide a document proving that the updated name is your legal name.
