Close my Joint account
You can close a Joint account directly in-app, but first, you need to bring the account balance to zero. Either of the Joint account holders can withdraw money without needing the other's consent.
Close a joint account
In the Revolut app:
- Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
- Below your balance, tap Accounts
- Select your Joint account
- Tap 'Details'
- Scroll down and select 'Close joint account'
Once you close the Joint account, we'll deactivate any cards linked to the Joint account. We'll also send both co-holders their Joint account statements by email.
