How do I submit My Number information?

Why we need this information

In accordance with the Act on Submission of Statement of Overseas Wire Transfers for Purpose of Securing Proper Domestic Taxation, we require customers to provide their My Number information to be able to use our services. These services include:

  • International transfers (inbound and outbound)
  • Overseas ATM withdrawals
  • Donations via cross border payment

Without submitting your My Number information, you will be unable to send or receive money internationally, even between other Revolut customers.

How do I submit the My Number document?

You can submit your My Number document by using this link, or tapping the notification you receive when your transfer fails.

We always aim to finalise your My Number verification as soon as possible. The process usually takes a couple of hours but may take up to a few business days. We appreciate your patience.

Take a live photo of the physical document. Uploads from your gallery aren't accepted.

Supported documents

To verify your My Number information, we accept any of the following:

  • My Number card (マイナンバーカード): both front and back side
  • My Number notification card (マイナンバー通知カード) and photo ID
  • Resident certificate with My Number (マイナンバー付き住民票) and photo ID. Resident Certificate must be issued within 6 months and include only your personal details, not family members
