Trusted recipients

What is a trusted recipient?

When you pay an individual for the first time, we add them to a list of payees that you know and consider them trusted recipients. This means that in subsequent transactions, payments to them won't need two-factor authentication, except when transfers exceed certain limits.

Can I mark a trusted payee as not trusted?

To mark a previously trusted payee as not trusted, find the contact in-app and tap. Tap the contact to see the recipient details screen, and use the toggle in the 'Authentication' section to mark them as not trusted.

What happens if I mark a payee as untrusted?

Payments to that payee will always require two-factor authentication.
