Timeframes for transfers

Receiving JPY transfers

  • The money usually arrives in the recipient's Revolut account within 1 hour, regardless of whether it's the weekend or a bank holiday
  • Funds might be held and delayed by the sender bank

Sending JPY transfers

Local transfers from a Revolut account can take up to 1 business day.

International transfers

SWIFT transfers from a Revolut account can take up to 2 business days to arrive in the recipient's account.

Transfer timeframes may depend on the receiving bank's system capabilities or the receiving account's status. If any of your transfers exceed their expected timeframe, contact our Customer Support team in the in-app chat.
