Transfer fees
Sending a transfer
- Local transfers: the number of fee-free transfers depends on your plan. Standard customers get 1, Premium customers get 3, and Metal customers get 5. All customers will be charged JPY220 for every transfer thereafter
- International transfers: Revolut charges no fees for international SWIFT transfers
For more information, you can visit our Fees Page on our website. When your money is in transit, intermediary financial institutions are used to complete the transaction and might charge a fee. Revolut doesn't have visibility or control over these fees.
Receiving a transfer
Revolut doesn't charge any fees for adding money via transfer to your account. However, there are non-Revolut fees that can be charged:
- Your sending institution might charge a fee for sending a transfer. Contact them if you ever want to know more or clarify anything about their fees. For international (SWIFT) transfers, external institutions may apply fees. Intermediaries may also charge handling fees of USD 15–50
If a currency isn't supported by Revolut, your financial institution may convert it at their rate, leading to fees. To avoid this, use local details and supported currencies, which you can check in this article.
