I sent a transfer to the wrong Revolut customer
Transfers between Revolut customers are usually instant. Once the transfer is processed, we're not able to cancel it. If you sent money to the wrong Revolut customer, you'll need to ask the recipient to return the money to you as soon as possible.
To do this, reach out to them via the chat between you both in the Revolut app. This chat is created once you send them money. To use this chat:
- On the bottom menu, go to Payments
- Select the person you've sent money to
- A chat window will open, and you'll be able to type your message to the recipient of the payment there
The recipient isn't answering my messages
If the recipient isn't responding, you can contact our customer support team and we'll try to reach out to them on your behalf. However, we can't guarantee they will respond or agree to return the funds. Without the recipient's consent, we're unable to retrieve the money.
