Do I need to declare taxes?

Your investments in different types of assets (savings, shares, ETFs, cryptos, etc.) may generate income or capital gains and losses, particularly if you receive dividends or sell a share at a higher price than you bought it for.

In some cases, Revolut provides you with an annual report, which includes information that helps you fill out your tax return, if required.

Do I need to declare my Revolut account to the tax administration?

Revolut Bank UAB is a bank established in the Republic of Lithuania. This means that, unless you have been migrated to the branch in your country, your money is deposited in Lithuania, which is the reason why your IBAN begins with LT, or did previously.

Revolut Securities Europe UAB is an authorised investment firm in the Republic of Lithuania that provides investment services such as stocks and ETFs, money market funds (Flexible Accounts, also known as Flexible Cash Funds), and Robo-Advisor.

Revolut Ltd is a financial institution registered in England that provides investment services in commodities. 

Revolut Digital Assets Europe Ltd (RDAEL — formerly RT Digital Securities Cyprus Ltd) is a private company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (no. HE430310) with registered address Pikioni, 10 Flat/Office 5, 3075, Limassol, Cyprus. RDAEL is registered with the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC — ref no. 001/22) as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the applicable legislation for the prevention and suppression of money laundering and terrorist financing.
