Card spending limits

Each card associated with the business account can have a spending limit applied which prevents the cardholder from spending more than a set limit within a defined timeframe.

View your spending limit

  • Go to 'Cards'
  • Choose your card
  • If your card has a spending limit, you'll be able to see the limit, remaining balance, and when the limit resets under your card
  • Select 'Edit' if you need to update the spending limit

Setting a spending limit

  • Go to 'Cards'
  • Choose your card
  • Select 'Settings' and 'Spending limits'
  • Enable the spending limit toggle, set the amount and frequency, and hit 'Apply'

To set a limit for a single transaction, simply enable the 'Single transaction limit' toggle, set the amount, and hit 'Apply'.

Your spending is always limited to the available balance in the account. The maximum amount a card can spend is 5,000,000 GBP (or currency equivalent) per month.
