How do regulatory limits affect my usage?

Outgoing transaction limits for Singapore residents

If you are a Singapore resident, the Payment Services Act mandates that your Revolut account be subject to an outgoing transaction limit of SGD$100,000 in a rolling 365-day period ("Flow Cap").

Internally, we have applied an outgoing transaction limit of SGD$97,000 (or the foreign currency equivalent) to ensure that the sum of your outgoing transactions are kept within the Flow Cap. Such internal limit is set to SGD$30,000 if you had previously opted for the lower limit.

Regardless of which limit you had opted for (i.e. SGD$97,000 or SGD$30,000), most outgoing transactions from your Revolut account (including those by way of card payments, ATM withdrawal, and transfers) will count towards such limit.

Transactions excluded from Flow Cap:

  • Local or international transfers to a personal deposit account held in your own name
  • Local transfers to another person's personal deposit account
