How do I provide proof of address?
If we need you to provide proof of address, you'll receive an email, push notification, and see a banner on your in-app home screen. Simply follow the instructions to upload your document.
Verification typically takes less than 1 hour, but it can take up to 1 business day for some cases.
Supported document and criteria
You'll need to upload a PDF, or a photo of a physical document. Screenshots are not accepted. Supported documents will be listed on the submission screen.
- The issuing date must be within the last 3 months
- Documents must be issued in Latin alphabet
- Documents must be issued by a government authority, utility company, or financial institution
- The address must be a home address. Post Office boxes, hotels, and business addresses are not accepted
- The document must not be handwritten. If you're providing a rental/lease agreement, it can be accepted if the 'Template' is printed and only the details and signature are handwritten

Your details
- The name on the document must match the name on your Revolut account
- Your document must match the address linked to your Revolut account, otherwise you'll need to update your address first
How to upload the document
Simply follow the email or in-app prompts to upload your proof of address document. Make sure your Revolut app is updated to the latest version.
Your document should be clear and readable. Blurry documents won't be accepted.
