What do I do if I receive a card refund/chargeback to my closed account?
If you receive a refund/chargeback after closing your Revolut account, you can send us a message at support@revolut.com email address with the following:
A bank statement dated within the last 3 months where the alternate bank details you’d like us to send the money to:
- Make sure your full name, address, and account number are visible.
- It can be a photo, PDF file, or screenshot of required documentation.
A confirmation from the merchant that the refund was applied:
- It can be a screenshot, email, etc.
- Usually it will contain the merchant’s name, amount, and your Revolut card details (last 4 digits).
Once we’ve verified, we’ll initiate the transfer process to your desired alternate account. It typically takes between 3-5 business days for the refund/chargeback funds to arrive after we’ve processed it from our end.
