Why was my account closed?

Account closure

We may close or suspend your account (and restrict your access to our services) in certain circumstances.

Reasons for account closure

Reasons including but not limited to:

  • We have reason to believe, in our sole discretion, that you're behaving fraudulently, suspiciously, or other otherwise in violation of the law
  • You haven't given us (or someone acting on our behalf) any information we need, or we have reason to believe, in our sole discretion, that information you have provided is incorrect or not true
  • We have asked you to repay money you owe us and you haven't done so within a reasonable period of time
  • We have to do so under any law, regulation, or court order

Can I open another account?

If your account was closed by Revolut for reasons we shared with you, it won't be possible to open a new Revolut account in the future.
