Send or request money from other Revolut customers

How to send or request money

In the Revolut mobile app:

  • Go to 'Payments' on the bottom menu
  • Tap 'New' (the plus sign) in the top-right corner
  • Search for a past recipient or tap 'Revolut friend' under 'Add new'
  • Search by Revtag, add their phone or email, or scan their QR code
  • Tap 'Send' or 'Request'
  • To choose a currency, tap the currency symbol next to the amount
  • Enter the amount
  • Tap 'Send' or 'Request' again

For privacy reasons, some people won't show up as a Revolut customer until you've sent or received money from them.

Issues with transfers

Simply tap your transfer in your transactions list to get specialized help on your transfer if needed.

Limits and fees

There are no transfer fees when making transfers between Revolut customers. Most currencies and countries have no limits. If any exchange fees apply to your transfer, we'll show you before you send money in the app. To check daily and weekly limits for your transfers:

  • Tap your 'profile icon' in the top-left corner
  • Select 'Plan'
  • Tap on 'See all' next to 'Your limits'
