What if I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel my subscription?
You can change your IHG x Revolut subscription at any time in the Revolut app. This includes upgrading from Essential to Elite, downgrading from Elite to Essential, or cancelling your subscription.
Upgrading from Essential to Elite
If you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately. You move to the Elite subscription and start earning at Elite rates and accessing Elite benefits.
Your Essential card will continue to work, earning at Elite rates, and you will be prompted to order an Elite card.
Downgrading from Elite to Essential
If you downgrade within 14 days of subscribing to Elite, the downgrade takes effect immediately. Otherwise, the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current monthly subscription period.
You can continue using your Elite card, but it will operate as an Essential card for your Essential subscription once the downgrade takes effect. Platinum status is kept for at least one month after the downgrade takes effect (subject to IHG T&Cs).

Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel your IHG subscription at any time in the Revolut app from your 'IHG x Revolut card settings'. When your subscription ends, your card is cancelled and you will no longer earn IHG points or other benefits.
If you cancel your Essential subscription, the cancellation will take effect immediately. If you cancel your Elite subscription within 14 days of subscribing, cancellation takes effect immediately, otherwise at the end of your current monthly subscription period.
Your points balance will move to your IHG account in the next 14-day cycle. Platinum status is kept for at least one month after termination takes effect (subject to IHG T&Cs). To know more about any refunds or fees that may apply, check this FAQ.
