Is my mobile device covered by Revolut purchase protection?

Mobile devices are covered in case of accidental damage or theft (depreciation applies) for 12 months after purchase. To be eligible for a claim, make sure of the following:

  • Device is brand-new, no previous owners, and not purchased privately
  • Paid in full with your Revolut account, instalments purchases aren't covered
  • The claim value must be over £50
  • All claims and potential claims must be reported within 30 days or as soon as reasonably possible
  • Purchased for personal use after the start date of the purchase protection insurance policy

To submit a claim in the Revolut app

  • Go to 'RevPoints' on the bottom menu
  • Tap 'Insurance'
  • Select 'Purchase' and choose 'Purchase protection'
  • Tap 'Get Help' and select 'Make a claim'

You can claim one mobile device incident during a 12-month period. A new 12-month period begins on the day ‌you receive a notification regarding a previous mobile phone claim. Normal wear and tear, damage caused intentionally by the customer, or product defects won't be covered.
