Pet Insurance payments and renewals
How do I pay for Pet Insurance?
- Pet Insurance payments can only be made monthly
- The first payment will be taken on the date the policy is purchased from Revolut
- Subsequent monthly payments will be taken the day before the next coverage period starts (one day earlier than the first payment date). This date will be consistent each month, it is not possible to change the monthly payment date
- We'll notify you if you miss a monthly payment. If you do not complete a monthly payment after 25 days of it becoming due, your Pet Insurance policy will be cancelled effective from the end of your last paid month of cover. No claims will be paid until a missed monthly payment is completed
Renewals
Your Pet Insurance policy will automatically renew at the end of your current 12-month policy year. We'll begin notifying you of your policy's upcoming renewal around 1 month before the renewal date. You can manage your next year of cover in-app and change your plan type, excess and co-pay options prior to renewal in-app.
At renewal, you should read through your policy and edit details if they have changed so that your renewal quote is accurate, including:
- Spayed/neutered status: Update the spayed or neutered status of your pet
- Excess and co-payment option: Adjust the excess and co-payment options
- Plan changes: Change the plan between Bronze, Silver and Gold
To manage your renewal in-app:
- Go to 'Lifestyle' on the bottom menu of the Revolut app
- Tap 'Insurance' and select 'Pet Insurance'
- Choose 'Details' under 'Plan renewal'
- Select 'Manage plan'
