How do I close my account?
Thinking of leaving? Change to our Standard plan instead and keep your account — you'll still enjoy many features, with no monthly plan fees¹. If you'd still like to close your account, you can find the steps below.
Closure requirements
Make sure to clear the balance of all accounts and Pockets. To check if you have a pending transaction, tap this link.
If all account balances are zero, please also confirm:
- You have the latest version of the Revolut app installed
- You've downgraded your plan to Standard¹
- You've cleared your accounts
- You've closed your investment account¹
- You have no active subscriptions or chargeback requests
- You have no active Kids & Teens accounts¹ nor insurances through Revolut¹
How to close your account in the app
- Tap your profile icon in the top-left corner
- Select 'Account' and 'Close account'
Download and keep any statements you may need for future reference. We'll send you a confirmation of the closure once you've completed the process.

If your balance is too low for an outbound transfer
- Top up your account to meet the minimum amount required for outbound transfers
- Transfer the remaining funds to a Revolut friend via an internal transfer
- Donate the remaining funds to a worthy cause of your choice using our in-app Donations feature¹. To donate, you can use this link
