Failed crypto withdrawals
If your crypto withdrawal has failed, it might be due to:
Address review
You tried sending crypto to an address which is under review or has failed our checks.
Addresses added by users are reviewed at multiple stages. Previously-used addresses can also be flagged and disabled due to automated checks.
For example, if Revolut determines that an address is linked to an unsupported exchange, future withdrawals to that address will be blocked (even if you have successfully withdrawn to it in the past).
In case your wallet address was disabled or rejected:
- You can try to add another address
- There's no option to unblock a wallet once rejected
Recent account changes or activity restrictions
You may have tried to send crypto while your account is temporarily restricted. Check your notifications or emails for details.
Crypto withdrawals not supported in your location
Your device location was flagged as being in a high-risk or sanctioned jurisdiction. We block certain withdrawals to comply with laws and regulations.
You can attempt your withdrawal again once you are in the country you onboarded in. We still reserve the right to block any withdrawals that don't pass our internal checks, as per our Crypto T&Cs.
Potentially fraudulent withdrawals
We run checks on every transaction to make sure you don't fall victim to scams. If we identify the withdrawal as highly likely to be a scam, we'll either:
- Notify you in-app that we think this transaction is fraudulent and ask you to answer a series of questions. Take care in answering them and consider allowing 5 minutes to question whether you might be falling victim to fraud and cancelling your transaction
- Cancel it ourselves to make sure you don't lose your money
