I was charged extra by my bank for a Ramp payment. Why?

Banks may charge transaction fees if you’ve paid for crypto in a currency different to the one your card uses by default.

For example, if you buy crypto through Ramp, and pay using a UK card, then we always recommend paying in GBP.

This avoids unexpected conversions and currency fees from your bank.
