Return or manage crypto deposits
Returning crypto deposits
If a deposit fails our internal checks, e.g. from a blacklisted exchange (read this FAQ to learn what exchanges are unsupported), you must manually initiate a return.
To initiate a return:
- Go to 'Crypto' on the bottom menu
- Select the currency you deposited
- Tap 'Transactions' and select the deposit you want to check
- Tap 'Return funds'
- Provide a compatible wallet address for the reversal
Ensure the wallet is compatible. We may request multiple addresses to successfully process the return.
Incompatible addresses include:
- Addresses that aren't compatible with the selected cryptocurrency or not on the same network as the original deposit
- Addresses that are pending internal checks or rejected
- Your Revolut address or another Revolut customer's address
- The address you used to make the deposit from
Checking transaction status
Once submitted on the blockchain, the transaction will appear in-app.
To view the transaction:
- Go to 'Crypto' on the bottom menu
- Select the currency you deposited
- Tap 'Transactions' and select the deposit you want to check
- View detailed transaction information on the blockchain explorer via the 'Transaction hash' link
Deposits must be recorded on the blockchain to appear in your Revolut app.
Cancelling crypto deposits
Deposits into your account can’t be cancelled. However, you can sell, transfer, or potentially withdraw the cryptocurrency received. Any applicable fees will be visible in-app before any transaction is completed.
