The exchange rate from your BRL account to USD will follow our currency exchange provider's rates. During business hours, we'll charge you 1% of the spread rate + 1.1% of IOF (Tax under Financial Operations). Outside business hours, we'll charge an additional 0.5% fee on top of the 1% spread rate, plus the 1.1% of IOF (Tax under Financial Operations).
We use a real-time exchange rate for non-BRL to non-BRL currency exchange. This means that the buy and sell rates are determined based on data feeds from a range of independent sources, as well as the amount of the transaction. You can view the currency exchange rate on our website or in-app.
Exchange rates will be the same whether it's done as an in-app exchange, an exchange for a transfer, or an exchange for a payment.
