Budgeting

Our in-app budgeting tool allows you to keep track of your spending at all times. To get started in the Revolut app: 

1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
2. Tap the analytics icon in the top-right corner 
3. Select 'Budget'
4. Tap 'Set Budget' to set your budget amount
5. Choose the frequency (weekly or monthly) and the start date for your budget cycle
6. Choose specific categories, such as restaurants, shopping, groceries, etc
7. Click 'Done' to confirm

Analytics

You can use our in-app analytics to: 

• Track your spending and income daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly
• Set budgets
• Compare your spending to previous periods
• Understand spending categories, merchants, and places
• Create custom categories
• Add transactions
• Edit transaction amounts for group payments
• Exclude full transactions

Total Wealth

Our total wealth tool helps you simplify long-term money management. You can view your overall assets and liabilities in-app:

1. Go to 'Home' on the bottom menu
2. Tap the analytics icon in the top-right corner
3. Click the top switcher and select 'Total Wealth' from the drop-down menu

Income Sorter

We've also launched a new money management feature — Income Sorter. It lets you automatically sort income transactions from your personal account into different accounts and Pockets. Set your distribution once, and we'll handle the fund transfer for you every time you get paid.

How does it work?

If you set up an income sorter on one transaction, then the next time it's paid to you, we'll look for that payer, the amount (with 20% variation), description, and sort the income for you into your selected accounts and Pockets. We currently support sorting into joint accounts, savings accounts, and Pockets of the same currency. 

To start sorting in the Revolut app:

• Enter Income Sorter through any of the following entry points:
• the transaction you want to sort
• the home screen of the savings account or Pocket
• the 'Income' tab, under the 'Tools' section in Analytics
• Tap 'Sort income' and allocate the amount
• Choose between one-time or recurring payments:
• One-time distributions: your set amounts will be applied on the next payday
• Recurring distributions: the same amounts will be applied to all future paydays until you change them

To adjust or disable income sorter

• Revisit the transaction in your app and select 'Go to income sorter'
• Access it from the savings account or Pockets home screen by selecting 'Sort your income'
• Tap the analytics icon in the top-right corner, go to the 'Income' tab, and tap 'Sort your income' under 'Tools' 

Why didn't my income get sorted? 

• Income Sorter is available only for bank transfers and P2P transactions in your personal Revolut account
• Only works if your destination Pockets and accounts have the same currency as your personal account 
• Currently, income sorter doesn't support transfers to <18 account or investment products 
• Income Sorter won't process certain transactions if the destination accounts or Pockets are inactive
