Why was my Savings Account restricted or closed?

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to close or restrict your Savings Account, as per our T&Cs. This can happen if we're reasonably concerned about your account security, or if we're required to take action by law. 

If your account is restricted, we'll inform you of the reason as long as we can do so without any security risk or legal impediment. We'll also let you know as soon as your account is unrestricted.

If your account is closed, your Savings Account balance will immediately be moved to your current account. You'll also receive a document within 30 days of closure, which will include any deposits, withdrawals, and interest earned on your account in the previous 12 months.
